The environmental management is a core course for the students majoring in environmental sciences, environmental engineering and environmental management. This course will provide students knowledge and understanding about the public management, public policy and environmental management. It will cover 3 major module, referring 1) basis for the environmental management, covers the social and economic explanation of features of environmental resources and its implications for environmental management; basic issues of environmental management; the public management basis; the relationship of government-enterprises-public (third sectors); 2) institution, system and policy instruments relate to environmental management 3) case studies: air, water, waste, urban, regional, water basin, rural and natural resources.
